bilstein shocks/coilovers
Interested in monotube struts/shocks (not coilovers) for 2nd Gen Fit and in no hurry (car is too freaking new).
Wanted to add: Excellent product and very knowledgeable tech support. Put Bilsteins on our last Honda and on my Porsche. Loved them. Have also used Tokico on yet other Hondas, but would prefer Bilsteins.

I'd love a set of non-adjustables or adjustables from bilstein! Just as long as they aren't stock replacements like the Tokico HPs are.

i'm dropped now (FIT) on sprint blues and factory shocks, no problems so far (2 years), but in the past i've had these set ups on a few of my crx's
sprint blues (S) + tokico = tokico's didn't last
sprint blues (S) + factory = lasted longet than tokico's
ground control (CO) + bilstein = best ride & lasted longest
ractive (CO) + tokico = ractive stopped making CO for a reason
sprint blues (S) + skunk2 = stiff stiff stiff (great for track tho)(current on CRX)
count me in either way, i love their shocks and if they pair up with groungcontrol even better

good news i think...heres an update.
So....i think the fit is go with bilstein. im getting filled in by a third party right now. she is going to talk to the person who designs them. they will have my car for 2 weeks.
but i will find out soon.
man...i just want to get stupid low. i hope ground controls does something with the bilstein that way i can rock some coilovers with some bomb ass shocks.
if this will go through i will write a full review.
i will never recommend anything that i wouldnt purchase myself.

im not sure yet, i havnt gotten the real details about what they are wanting to produce. im still waiting on going in. but first im having someone who works there talk to the guy who actually is in charge of productions.
once i get in, im gonna see if they can make coilovers.
but if they dont, i dont mind them setting out the bilstein shocks with the ground control package.
either or...hopefully itll bring someone to our fit community for aftermarket parts

naw...
ground control is actually a sleeve type coilover.
like this below. and what it does is it goes over your shock like a spring, but its adjustable. and the spring is made from eibach, so they are solid.
alot of people either go with the koni yellow and G/C set up or the bilstein and G/C set up over the common full coilover systems such as tein basics or tein ss.
this way we get great performance shocks for those who just want a stiffer ride with their springs. or for those who want to get stupid low like me, can get low with the coilovers and still have a great shock. and say if 1 does blow and it is out of warranty. it is always cheaper to replace a shock then to replace the whole system. but you can correct me if im wrong about the cheaper part because i dont know if you could actually replace the shock on a full coilover system.
