bilstein shocks/coilovers
I have some eibach pro kit springs going on my fit next week. I know bilstein makes real quality shocks and for sure if they ever come out that would be my next mod !! I hope this thread has not been forgotten by it's starter....
I would buy Bilstien dampers if they were available.
In fact I am sure there will be some that will be OK for the rear. They may take a little adapting but the end fittings are so common there must be a Bilstien damper that is a close fit.
Does anybody have access to dampers from other cars so the dimensions can be compared to the Fit dampers?

I just got a Fit Sport, and while the ride on smooth surfaces is fine, on rough pavement (almost any road in PA), the ride is pretty harsh -- especially in the rear. Knowing that Honda motorcycles almost always come with rear shocks that have too much compression and not enough rebound damping, I think shock replacement would help. Are there ANY adjustable (preferably both compression and rebound) aftermarket shocks for the 2009 Fit? If not adjustable, what about other shocks, such as Monroe air lifts? I read the DIY for the 1st generation Fit, but it sounded like this wouldn't work on the 2nd generation.

tr1 is going to be making some 12 way adjustable dampers for the 09's. they already made them for the gd3, and the lower settings are said to increase handling AND offer a much cushier ride than stock.
