yeah really lol it's all because I had to be different and get German-made springs for a Japanese car. What do Germans know about Hondas anyway ;/

Make sure not to pop out your axle...... I didn't reference a diy and didn't know about the whole popping out so mine did and it went from a quick 30 minute job to a 2 hour long pain in the ass.

haha yeah why do you have to make things so difficult?

Eibachs are german made springs and a lot of people like them

and yeah its important to reference those DIYs... the possibility of the axle popping out is the only one thing i would be worried about doing this myself

definitely do it yourself, and while you're at it, put the progress rear sway bar in at the same time! same fasteners, large benefit, no repetition of labor

what i did the 4 times i popped one axle out, was rotate the rotor back and forth while pushing on the axle. it took all of about 3 seconds each time to get it back in.

I didn't have Panducky bolts so my Progress bar is still in my closet lol sigh. I'm going to put my rear springs in upside down when I install my exhaust on Sunday and see if that does the trick. The fronts had the Vogtland insignia rightside up but maybe the rears need it to be upside down to make it drop? It just doesn't seem like it ****ing DID anything!!!

After a long debate on whether or not to do it myself-I decided to go for it. This was the first major mod I've ever done on any car besides simple intakes and such. I used the tutorial for the skunk2s and the axle did pop out on the driver's side, but that's because I rushed things and wasn't careful. As long as you take your time and support the hub, you shouldn't have a problem. I used the jack from the trunk to support the lugs and did the passenger side in under 10 mins, then went back to the driver's side and decided to slip the boot off and re-align the bushings, and after that it slipped right back in and I just slid the boot back on. The longest step in the entire process was compressing the stock springs with a strut compressor so I could get them off. The rears take literally 5 mins, so go for it!

wow, i'm surprised that so many people who take it to a shop to have done. i wonder how much the labor would even cost.

i'm going to do it myself. any comments on T1R S-Coils?

$215.31 Total shipped... sounds good to me

drop is 1.6 front, 1.4 rear...

JDM!
