Best Lowering Springs ?

Which lowering springs offer the greatest drop and value ? Also, if you drop more than four cm., how do you adjust the camber? Thanks in advance.

the springs having the greatest drop and value will depend on what you're looking for in a set of springs really. if you drop your car, you won't need any aftermarket camber adjustment parts to keep it within specs. if you do want to adjust your camber though, you would need camber bolts for the front and shims for the rear.

well if your asking us for OUR opinion then we would be telling you what WE like. you really need to just research some more and find out what drop looks the best for you. cause thats what i did, when i 1st got my springs, i did alot of research and ended up with skunk2's cause i love the drop and ride.

if i were you, open up a POLL that will help you decide on what other people thinks. but i say DF210 like what HOndamatic says ^^^

Any lowering springs require an align, even if its minor just for safety precautions or prevent from wearing your tires.

I have tanabe GF210 but i removed it for a moment since i need to look for used stock shocks or just probably buy T1R shock damper.. you also need a aftermarket shocks if you purchase springs. its recommended. but you don't have to .

I use Vogtland on my Fit as well as my 626!! I like thems but on the Fit it make the front end look slammed to the floor and the rear end jacked up, or exactly the inverse of the stock car!! We'll see when my mags wheels will be on!! :P

Marko!!

Ok, I am looking for lowering springs for my girlfriend. She's looking for springs with the lowest spring rate and smallest drop( go figure). Anyway, I've looked around at spring rates and approximate drop heights and so far it looks like the Progress springs is what she's looking for, am I right?

Input appreciated...

If you have the GD3, the greatest drop I think was the Tein S-Techs.

I'm on Tanabe GF210s right now, and it's a good drop I guess. :] I would prefer to go lower now, but at the time I got them, I didn't want that much of a drop. :/ I'll save up for coilovers or something next time..I'm one of those people that change their minds every 2 weeks.

Smallest drop would probably be the Swift Springs from what I remember from old threads.

OH I have a GD3 btw, not sure if you were talking about the GE8.

Or you can come out to one of the big meets and see for your self what looks good to you. Thats what I did before I got my Spoon setup. Oh wait....no one has them but me.. That's why I got it but it worked out..I love em.... They are perfect for DD.

I bought tein s tech's when I first got my car, they rode ok but I got a offered more than I paid for them so they got sold. I then bought ground control's because of the adjustable collar. but I have been to lazy to install them, so I dont know how they ride yet, but the height is adjustable. I would say buy your wheels first then measure how far the drop needs to be, then order the springs that are close to what you measured
