GE front brakes on a GD?

Looks like the swap may work anyone done it?

Are the front brakes on the GE better? I don't know anything about the GE...

brake parts are compatible yes. 02-03 Civic Si brakes will work as well.

Ya honda changed them a bit. They are less likely to overheat. They got springs to keep the pads back off the rotors just like some of there trucks. Less friction when not in use. There is a write up in honda shop talk about the gd about overheating of the brakes (I work at a honda dealer) so the ge brakes look like a good upgrade hehe. I am thinking about it and maybe buying a set from a writen off ge will be cheap. I think the cailpers are different as well but have not looked into that yet. Will keep u posted if u guys are interested.

Interesting. Are the rotors and pads any larger from GD to GE?
