My collars are at the top for my HKS I could in theory just flip them right Ray?? so that the collars are at the bottom.

You can. I only flipped mine to stop the spring from rubbing.

I have always thought that cause in order for me to lower the rears I have to take it all apart, but when I had Teins on my xB the collars were at the bottom and I can adjust them by just jacking the car up then adjusting the collars

Im a bit confused here, the collars are the black rings correct. Wouldn't putting those under the spring have the same effect as removing it all together.
