Definitely feels better. I did the c-pillar/rear strut tower bar first and then did the x-bars the next day. Honestly, the x-bars made a very slight difference. I just installed my progress RSB a few weeks ago, with the rsb/x-bars the car feels like a whole new beast. I can't stop looking in my rearview mirror haha. Looks sexy.

Total cost for me:
$114.56 - 4 bars shipped
~$8 - Hardware (bolts, nuts, washers, etc...)
$7 - 6-pack of beer
40 minutes of my time

~$130 total

now I just need to break out the dremel and cut up my strut tower covers/seat belt plastic molding things so I can snap 'em back on.

so do you use the factory seatbelt bolts when your installing the top bar? or do you have to get longer ones?

Im installing this in a GE, ( if it makes a difference =X )

Thanks

can you take close-ups of the connecting points?

Also, any way you can connect vertical butterfly bars?

So i was kinda bored at work and was pulling the e-brake just to mess around (to those that will say i'm stupid, just know that its a pretty open lot by our warehouse) and for some reason, i wasn't able to get the rear to slide the way it did before i installed the bars.

Not sure if the bars are keeping me from doing it yet (i'll take off a couple of them and try it again soon), but im 90% sure my tires are pretty bald from the beating i've given it and even with new tires i'm able to slide it decently.

I'll update as soon as i get the time to remove the bars, if it is the bars then at least we know it has some functionality x]

I'm so glad I found this thread I was actually thinking about dumping money on the miracle-x bar but now I can piece it together and spend money else wear. But just to double check because nobody actually said what part numbers the bars were...

you need plus the extra longer hardware.

Okay I got mine up, but the thing about it was that the top one was too long & it had to be cut an in as well as the bolt. I don't understand what I was doing wrong
