Better replacement caliper?
I am leery of installing different pads or callipers unless also installing an adjustable pressure valve to moderate pressure..... I don't drive in competitive events and am pleased with the way mine works as is..... I would think that if brake fade is a problem, it would be on the rear drum brakes.
The guys at Wilwood can probably help you select a caliper that should be a direct replacement for our cars as our calipers are shared with other cars such as RSX (base model) and some older civics. I've been meaning to call them to see if they have a dynalite caliper that drops in to replace the current one keeping stock-sized rotors.
I just got Acura Integra Type-R calipers...they bolt up to the stock ears. The stock disc is 262-mm X 21-mm. The Type-R discs are 282-mm X 23-mm, but 25-mm discs will fit. This conversion needs the 282-mm discs. I will be posting the install with part numbers.
