Did u cut the (yellow)stopper when u had the skunk2 springs and stock dampers ? I didn't and im starting to think that was why it was almost no body roll.

Well the DIY on this site for springs says you should cut the stoppers and leave 3/4 of it on the stock damper so you won't bottom out.

Since we didn't cut them, we must have ridden on the stoppers, hence the harsh ride and pretty much no body roll. (this is just speculation i am no mechanic).

Maybe we should buy a sway bar to solidify the crap of that suspension :P

I'd also like to say i had a very good experience with A&J, they were fast to communicate and the shipping was fast ( 5 days from BC to Quebec).

Salut aux Boys du Québec !!
I have Eibach pro-kit springs for the summer but until now stock dampers. I am seriously thinking of ordering the T1R damper and spring combo and was also curious to compare the two brands of springs with upgraded dampers. I don't know witch ones I would try first ?? Probably the T1R as from what I read they seem to be a bit stiffer (at least in the back) and I'm looking for a more track-oriented setup.
Maybe next summer, cause for now I returned to stock to clear the snow !!

Up till now the T1R are great (springs + dampers combo) i found that they gave me more body roll than Stock dampers + Skunk2 springs. But that may be because of uncut stoppers.

Subscribed for interest. I'm looking to improve the car in daily driving situations and not lose much if any comfort. I was able to do it in my STi so I hope it's possible with the Fit too! The T1R's appear to be the best alternative for my needs so far.

Well i dunno about 09 fits ( if that's what u have) but i have to say it's still pretty harsh, even at the softest level. It's certanly the softest alternative out there. When going over small bumps its allright but bigger bumps are quite noticeable.

I'm having trouble tightening bolting on the top of front dampers. Do I need to use an impact wrench in order to tighten it? My kung fu grip isn't strong enough to keep strut from spinning while I tighten bolt.

If you're looking for comfort and performance, I think considering the T1R is a good choice. You can compliment the dampers with any lower springs for the GD3.

Secondly, it gives you best of both worlds, you can maintain both comfort and performance with some minor adjustments.
