help w/ car feel... More Grip Up front, more rear stability
Hi guys! I've recently taken my car to the racetrack and tried to see how it feels. Overall the car is pretty stable but I know where I'd like it to feel... But no idea how to get there.
I'd like the front end to have more gripping power and the rear to be more stable, it tends to oversteer a little which is not a problem in slow corners but I'm just afraid of spinning out on fast S turns and whatnot.
Here are my current list of mods so you can kinda feel what I'm working with
Hankook RS2 in 205-50-15 on a +40 by 7'' wheel
$20 C-Pillar Bar
BuddyClub N+ Coilovers, 8k front 6k rear (progressive spring swapped out for linear-type)
-3 degrees camber up front and the stock -2ish in the rear
Would these spring rates be too conservative on the track? I've driven my friend's fit which has 12f 14r and it's insane! I don't mind that my car is on a different level than his, I'm more concerned about feel.
Waiting on roll center adjusters which should fix handling a bit, but is there anything else I could do? I'm sorta scared to get a rear sway cuz I dont want more oversteer! But would adding a front one make the car spin more since the front will have more grip and the rear still cant grip enough?

of course I did this on purpose, but I still think it's too easy to get the tail out on my car!

I guess the oversteer isn't that bad since it's controllable, but I feel like my car could grip harder. thanks for the help!
