Coilover help!!!
Coilover help!!!
i have tein basics which are really comfortable for coilovers but dont go as low as i need to. i've heard that if you change the springs it MIGHT get me lower. if this is true what springs do you recommend i switch to to get lower?
eibach makes good coilover springs...
what are your spring diameters/spring lengths/spring rates?
to go lower you can lower the spring rate or shorten the spring length

I am installing Swift Mach springs today.... Twenty nine years ago I went for the extreme low look on a VW pickup and it ended up being the dumbest thing I have ever done to a car,,,, Save yourself a lot of headaches and expense by not going for a look that will mess up your ride and instead focus on improving the ride and handling..... I really like the slammed look a lot but I like being able to drive my car without having to worry about tearing off the lip and bumper or busting oil pans and my back.
well... is there any way you can go out and measure your springs unloaded? length and diameter? maybe contact a tein distributor?
that would help in finding replacement springs that would fit the coilovers...
my guess is that they're 2.5" diameter... dunno about the lengths
