best lowering option for a dd?

I know guys... broken record.

i only have my phone for the next week or so while the laptop is getting fixed. the search function does not work on it. that and it generally sucks to view any web page on it. lol

anyway,

i have a 08 sport with AT

im looking for either coilovers or springs to drop my ride height while on 205/7/17 (not sure about offset any input would be great) wheels and tires.

i cant go down to the ground, i have a couple speed bumbs in my neighborhood. and i would like to scrape as minimally as possible lol

im mainly looking for dd ride comfort while clearing the wheels and tires (not opposed to rolling fenders)

whats your guys opinion? any suggestions?

i would say swift springs as well, but sadly, they've been discontinued for the GD3, so he would either have to get used.

if he's looking strictly for new, any reputable brand would suffice, H&R, Progress, Eibach, etc.

from my understanding, they all use progressive rates for the rear, so they should still be comfy enough for DD

Don't forget to look into the T1R as well. These are great DD springs which have a mild drop of about 30 - 40mm and are geared towards comfort and performance.

Definately a set of springs to consider, as we also have a special on these right now too.

Feel free to PM me if interested.

Thanks!

I'm running 195-50-R15 on 15" SIR rims and it's fun as hell, looks good w/no rub and all the performance. Plus Progress still makes them, in fact they have just finished their 06' civic coilover package. Shows how a lil time spent on R/D will goes a long way.

FYI - I just ordered a NEW set of Swift springs for my GD3 directly from them without any issues.

I don't have a vagina but the more of it I have had access to the happier I have been... The less the wheel gap the more misery you are going to suffer unless you like just take pictures of your car and don't enjoy being able to drive the hell out of it when you need or want to...... I like Swift Mach Sport Springs but had to remove and replace them with coil overs because the roads here and dropped front end combination doesn't allow me to drive as fast as I like to... I have the coil overs set up to ride as close to what I had with the Swift Springs but with the car sitting a little over 1" higher ... Having to reattach the front bumper to the front fenders was a pain in the ass I will never have to deal with now.
