I have a question that is not camber related this time. Just dropped the car to fix the right wheels and spoke to the camber guy and he reckons we are looking at adjusting the right wheels by -0.2.

Anyway, so yeah, my car rides like a dog . I am feeling every hump on the road, specially when i hit 100km/hr. Could it be spring rate ? or should i raise the car a bit more ?. Right now the front is a very tight two finger gaps and the rear is mid tight two finger gaps. I have the dampers set 2 clicks from soft at rear and 3 clicks from soft front. What would you guys suggest to make the not so rough.

On Saturday i had to be somewhere on time and kinda pushed the car more than usual and wife wasn't happy at all of the rough ride to destination.

Haven't got a clue about wheel travel when going coilovers. Do you loose travel making the switch? If so springs need to be stiff otherwise your always hitting the bumpstops. Shocks need to be stiff on compression and rebound needs to control spring rate to keep from topping out. Just a though mind you.

yah, you're probably riding on your bumpstops. if you raise the car you will need another alignment.

honestly, should've just gone with swifts.

Maybe yeh :-) would have been so much simpler, haha.

But springs only gives u extra gravity and looks.

I wanted my car to glide on the road and do corners better, which it does now with the coils. I am doing u turn where I use to do three point turns and I wanted a rigid ride for the highways which has also been achieved.

Can't have everything I guess,haha.

I'll try adjusting the dampers and go from there, a click every few days.

I have gained more in terms of ride quality, s'all good. Just trying to achieve perfection I guess:-)

Oh and by the way, i forgot to update about my last camber adjustment, am glad i followed you boyz advice and went back to the first place. The guy managed to fix them both sitting nicely tucked inside my guards with what seems to be -1.0 camber or 0.1 give or take but driving like a champ on corners. I am loving it.

This weekend i will give it a good wash and have some pictures up for the eyes.

2 weeks and $344 later, finally got there. I just need to book to have my guards rolled next Saturday, then i can move onto something else.

Funnily enough, my fuel consumption has gone down with the set up and T1R intake. From 9.2L/100km with the 17" down to 8.4L/100km. What i like most with the intake is that there is no dead spot now when changing gears. Car is an auto (sucks i know) and the intake eliminated the dead spot when gears were shifting. It goes like a little bull now, overtaking two three cars on round abouts but then they take me back on the straight lines , lol.

Zippy little car

height is 3mm higher at the back, camber -0.1 both sides. Wonderfully done, drives like a champ.
