This is great info . . . so here's a wrench to throw in the mix. I just put some wheels & tires on the Fit. 15x7 +31 with 195/55/15. The wheels are damn near dead flush and look perfect in my opinion. Right now at stock height I've got 2.0-2.25" of tire to fender lip clearance up front and 1.75" of tire to fender lip clearance out back. Am i setting myself up for RUB with any of these spring options? And no, I'm not interested in different tire sizes. I'm not making this easy, am I?

Anything lower than +45 CAN rub, specifically in the rear. But, your running OEM size tires... Honestly, as long as you stick to Swift's or Progress or another spring that does not drop it too low, I think you will be OK.

I run 225/45/15's on 15x8 +25.... On coil overs with LOTS of camber

You can always do some comparisons here: Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

PS: I used to run 205/50R15's on 15x6.5 +40 Rota's with Swift springs as my every day setup with -1.5 camber up front and NEVER rubbed. You only stick out 0.4mm/0.2 inch more than that setup, so throw on some camber bolts up front for a little extra insurance and make sure to set the toe to zero!

I guess the real question is . . . Is .50-75" tire to fender clearance enough for suspension compression under normal driving conditions?

Good question... There is really only the one way to find out :/ The Swift springs being linear and a bit firmer would be a safer bet as they would likely compress less... but that indicates a trade off in comfort... and around and around it goes LOL

The rear is what's actually hard. If you rub, it will be back there with a load in the car on bumps. In the front, a single set of camber bolts for at least -1.0 camber and toe set to zero and I bet you will be fine. Actually should have improved tire wear as well as handling
