Noob question about coilovers...
I've owned an ep3 that I had lowered on Tein S's. I loved the stance, and handling. I need to be reasonable buying coil overs, because I recently started a job as a hairstylist and am not making much yet. My car rubs a bit at stock height on stock shocks under heavy turning. I'm nervous to put coils on for fear I just bang my wheel wells to death. Is the "fusionetics" kit shitty? I know that they're non-damper adjustable which I'm not sure how I feel about. INPUT? (GD3)

If you are rubbing under hard corners with stock height, the heck you think lowering will do?
Your tires are obviously wider then stock, as I can hit the hardest of corners without rubbing on my 15s
You may want to try front and rear swaybars first before lowering if you do have pretty wide tires
It would kill a lot of bodyroll, then a full set of coilovers left only a tiny bit lower then stock but stiffened up would do you the rest

I get your point about the rubbing question, but i was on 16's and plan on going down to 15's.
Also, I was hoping that a stiffer suspension, flaring my wheel-wells, and removing the rear well guards would help.
Would those precautions help you think?

how wide?
Stiffer suspension will always help reduce or remove rubbing from suspension travel.
Also, are your tires sticking out or are they flush with the fender?
My 15s are the stock steelies, so they look sucked into the body lol, especially with my 2inch drop
I would say if you run 15s go no wider then 7.5 inches. Go with a max width of 205 on your tires if you intend to lower quite a bit.
Like I said earlier, sway bars will also make a big helping impact
You can buy swaybars for the crz, and progressive makes a rear swaybar. the combo will be quite devastating out on the track!
