Factory struts with springs
Factory struts with springs
What springs would you guys recommend with factory struts. I understand that coil overs would be best but need something for the time till I rack up for some good quality coil overs.?
He's right. Honda shocks rarely give from lowering. Even the race spring line from the spring companies. I've lowered every Honda/Acura I've owned. Just don't cut stock springs.
Swift, Tein, Tanabe, all fine. I hear Eibach is a little on the rough side because the rates are higher. None of the springs for GE8 drop that low though, so all should be fine for stock shocks really.
I've got 30k stock plus 60k lowered on Teins and my shocks are just about done, not blown, but definitely seen better days. I think i've kind of sped up the process recently with hard driving though lol, before then i'd just been DDing it with occasional off/onramp hooning.

my GD3 Dropzone springs have definitely taken their toll on the struts and shocks of my 2013.
I drove up from texas to wisconsin one last time with nearly a thousand pounds of cargo, and the ride slowly got worse as I drove on.
Pretty sure my front struts are nearly blown. Car bounces like a pissed off horse over minor backroads
