Lowering Advice

Hey everyone,

I plan to lower my 2007 UK Honda Jazz with 40mm lowering springs, but as some are aware, the front of the car sits a lot higher than the rear, as you can see:

How can I solve this without cutting the front springs, but still using springs?

Thanks a lot!

That's just how the car is. There is more wheel gap in the front than in the back. You have two choices: 1. Lower the car so that the wheel gap in the front is equal to the wheel gap in the rear or 2. Lower the car so that the frame height in the front is equal to the frame height in the rear. I also think that most spring manufacturers produce springs that will lower the front more than the rear but the rear will have less wheel gap (if any) than the front.

I think thats the way I'm gonna go, but I haven't found any spring manufactures in the UK who produce springs which result in an equal drop.

Thanks for the help

H&R sells springs by size (lengthxdiameter of coil & diameter of spring wire and #per foot)
You can always find a ground control kit and look the spring part numbers then just buy a spring thats a tic longer or shorter as you like.

Or try going with coilovers. That way you can lower each corner as desired. True, they're way more expensive than springs (and probably new struts), but it will let you lower it exactly how many centimeters you want.

Thanks for that, I'll look into it!

I would really love to, but the cost of them here in the UK is simply absurd.

I have looked at getting them imported from the US at about 1/3 of the cost of from the UK, but shipping, tax's and other fees also bumps the cost up a lot.

Although, the more I look at coilovers and the more people suggest them, the more I wanna just go out and get some

Thanks for the help again!

Does anyone know if the Bilstein B14 PSS (Sold here http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/perfor...s-rear-15-45mm) will fit my 2007 Jazz? According to the website they do, but everywhere else just says they fit the GE's...
