Exactly, sand it down and paint it or powdercoat it and it would be super sick. I am pretty sure this thing wouldn't LOSE power either, foam elements generally flow much better, and I don't see any restriction, and it has decent heat deflectors. A silver, black or gunmetal ceramic coating would make for a very nice clean engine bay, very OEM looking other than the MASSIVE foam filter.

this kinda died didn't it? i'm in the process of making a stainless steel engine cover , maybe i'll make one of these too, where do i get one of those filters? it doesn't have to say ARC either cuz i'll put my own logo on it - i don't expect gains i just like a clean and unique engine bay

It looks a bit like the HFit Supa Sucka intake. Aside from it being bling bling and an drop in filter. It looks great, but wouldn't the aluminum retain heat?

i guess arc really does make a GD3 intake.

ARC International Inc.IN JAPANbƒX[ƒp[ƒXƒ|[ƒcƒNƒŠ[ƒi[b”MŒπŠ·Šν‹@»‘’b

last one in the first row says GD3.. it costs like 400+ though

i know mann it costs that much for a home-made look intake. might as well buy the PWJDM one.
