16x7 et38 on stock 185’s
Hello everyone,
Long-time lurker here. I am biting the bullet and I am in the process of getting a 2020 Fit Sport W/CVT - Last fit available in my area plus my wife doesn’t drive manual so...
Its a Crystal Black with the 16x6 Black wheels. I can’t stand the OEM wheel stance (will use Orem wheels for winter tires) and want to get a set of wheels for summer months. I don’t plan on racing or anything of the sort, I need this beauty to last.
i do, however want to make it look and drive a bit more planted so eventually, I will lower it. I found a nice-looking set of wheels ( DAI Nerve in gloss black)
My questions are:
Stock height, can I get away with 16x7 et38 on stock tires? I know they’ll be stretched a bit and I’m ok with that. I hear they’ll poke a bit, and I’m ok with that as well.
Lowered, will I be able to get away with the same set-up, without having to resort to rolling? I don’t want to get a big drop. Just a minor drop with stiffer rates. Any recommendations?
Thank you all in advance. This seems an awesome community.
Juan
