Tire shop doesn’t want to put a 205 50 16 tire on a 8” wheel which I understand. Didn’t realize they ordered a 8”. I wanted a 16x7 with a 205 50 16. Wheels are here and I need to find a tire size to fit a 2016 fit. Not lowered and factory specs. Their going to try to fit a 225 50 16 and I think that’s going to be too big. Do I have any options without rubbing or having a clearance issue! Thank you in advance

If you didn't ask for an 8 inch width wheels, why do you feel obligated to use them? Ask the tire shop to get the wheels you wanted them to order. Easy peasy.

205/50R16 is almost identical in diameter to the stock 185/55R16, which is why it's a popular upgrade for people who want a fat(ter) tire without additional modifications.

225/50R16 is a bit taller and way wider than stock.

I don't know what wheels and tires you're currently running, but the comparison with stock is something like this. Will it fit without rubbing? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't want to pay for a new set of wheels and tires to find out.

You will never fit a 225/50 +35 on there. Especially with stock suspension.

Since you are all stock you are much better off using the stock wheels as well. Even going with a 8" wide wheel on a stock fit is just crazy.
