need a tire recommendation
I have owned a 2015 fit EX since 2017 and I have put 125,000 miles on the car with virtually no maintenance cost other than tires. But in the last 60,000 miles I have had nothing but trouble with Falken Ziex ze 950 tires I’ve had to replace five tires over the past three years They all form a bubble on the sidewall and one even had sidewall that totally disintegrated while driving on the highway. In all cases, the tread on the tires were good and in last three cases, they were virtually new tires. PLEASE give me some recommendations of tires that are more durable than the Falkens, I bought the car with 400 miles on it and I can’t remember the original type of tire it had. At about 27000 replaced the original tires with Sumitomos because of a recommendation I received on this forum but I saw Falken at a very good price and I thought they were a good tire but I was wrong!!
Michelins. Michelin makes excellent tires. Spendy as an aftermarket option but very well made.
I have the Defender model on my Fit. Good grip, no issues with hydroplaning, quiet, smooth. And the current version of those tires is warranted for 80,000 miles. No guarantee you'll get all 80k but you sure should get more from them than your Falkens. They have other models, too, depending on your driving style and other requirements.
