Never really a fan of GT3's. They are kind of ugly.
I had C8's and loved em. They are pretty strong.

pink rims eh

i was thinking of doing the same thing but i really want a red fit so i kinda ruled out the black one lemme give you my idea tho!!! i was thinking black fit with pink rims and then blow dry the headlights and remove the colormatch plate. its just a piece of plastic that you can take off.... then paint them hot pink too with like a black vinal eye brow on the headlights and maybe a few pink decals and that thing would loooook HOOOOOT lol deffinatly i say do pink and do headlights and then you can pop your hood and remove your cover off your engine and spray that pink too w00t oh man and pink sidemarkers .......... and pink headlights..... its gunna be nutts dude i say go for it hard and all the way ...

To P.C. or not to P.C., that's my question

For my NHBP's new shoes I had pretty much decided on the gold Heliums until I came across the Enkei RPF1 model. It's nearly 2 lbs. lighter and looks damn hot in gold, IMHO. After getting all worked up this weekend waiting to hear back about my order I come to find that they only make the gold in a 5 lug.

So now that my dream wheels only come in silver at twice the price of the Heliums, I have the option of powder coating for $85 each, bringing the total to $315 per. Ouch! So my questions are:

1) Is it really worth it to spend over 2 bills to save 1.7 lbs. in weight?
2) Would that little in savings in unsprung weight translate into appreciable gains in regards to ride quality and/or fuel savings?
3) How does powder coating stack up against a factory finish when it comes to abuse, cleaning, weather, stones, tire changes, etc.?
4) Should I make an appointment with a shrink for even be considering this?

So come on, give a guy a push 'cause I'm getting tired of riding this fence. Thanks.

2) Would that little in savings in unsprung weight translate into appreciable gains in regards to ride quality and/or fuel savings? same as above

it's very strong. just wax like anything else.
4) Should I make an appointment with a shrink for even be considering this?
if your asking , you probably need to go. lol

also try to get quotes for less than $85 a wheel unless that's the factory doing it. seems a tad high.

Check Edge Racing - bb3 for the RPF1s in 15s. I think they run $189 each. Powercoating on top of that is 189+85=$274 per rim. There is of course shipping and maybe tax.

Recommendations for 16" Rims (specs)

I have just recently bought a nighthawk black Jazz and am thinking of changing the rims. (I'm in Australia)

Anyone can recommend some good 16" rims? What specs? Offset? Colour?Nothing too fancy... My favourite are the Bronze VOLK TE37s.. but they're a little over the price i'm willing to spend on rims...

I am ordering some Buddyclub N+ coilovers soon too!

Thanks!
