lower it? definitely
rim size? i'd say 16s or 17s. depends on what you're wanting. they look good as hell with 18s too, but i wouldnt' want to weight the fit down that much.

I'd love to lower mine as well, there's just too much room in the wheelwell for my taste but I worry about the potential problems in snow. Does anybody know how much this is affected?

Do you plan on cutting out the stock rear fenders before you put the widebody on? If so, you could run 17x8's with a 35 or so offset.

My thoughts. Save and get coilovers. definitely worth the investment. You at least have option of adjusting ride height this way.
and get 16s. 15s too small. 17s and 18s too big for small car.

16x8s with an agressive offset.

just my thoughts

After a while of researching I found the perfect rim.
I'm going to get me some "Sport Max 006's" 17x8 and 17x9's. I belive... I'mma paint the lip blue and get blue lugnuts (the rim will be blue/black) to match my blue FIT. As of now I'm asking dealerships to call me when they get a Honda Fit in, they seem to be low in stock since they wanna make room for the 08's..... pfft...
