Sport rims in winter

Does anyone leave their Sport rims on during the winter? Im just wondering because I have a set of 17's that I use during the summer. I was thinking about putting winter tires on my Sport rims. Just wondering if the Sport rims hold up well from all the winter elements. Do they get pitted easy? Thanks.

Second winter and no problem event with all the salt that they put on the road in the maritime.

Right on...thanks. I try to clean mine every week or 2 during the winter...perhaps ill just use a wet cloth to keep the rims somewhat clean. They are a nice looking factory rim.

I run my stock tires wrapped with Toyo Snowprox winters. Great combo, bring on the snow!

put a good coat of wax on it. you can use spray on type waxes too.
just have something the wheel can use to repell the salt water and
grime in general. and wash regulary...at least once every 2 weeks.

I've mounted a set of Hankook studded tires on mine and there they're going to stay as I've got a set of Volk Time Attacks coming for my summer time wheels ( if they ever get here ). I might add this car works very well on the snow and ice, I like it.

I say I wash my car down at the gas station every 2 weeks during the winter...however when I get my new Fit...it may be every few days.
