Well, after some fighting with the dealership, I'm finally getting my snow tires/steelies back that were on my VW. I would like to be able to use them on the Fit as they're practically new but they are 195/65/15. The stock tires are 195/55 so i'm wondering if this will work or if I should just try to sell the wheels/tires and get new ones?

Honestly, i'd like to make it through the winter with the factory Dunlops but those things irritate me to death. The Dunlops seem to pick up every little thing on the road and when they put salt down, you can imagine. Anyway, what are your thoughts on the tires?

imho those are too big. i'd opt for something narrower for snows'
like 185/60/15 or 175/65/15 or something in that ball park.

 

The more I think about it, I agree. Here's my other question, are 15" wheels the smallest wheels that will fit or will 14's work? I was looking at Tire Rack today at work and they offer a package with 14" steelies and tires.

if TR offers 14's they probably fit just fine. i deal a lot with TR (alex)
for my other cars. so much i just send him a quick email, my stuff
arrives the next day.
