i'm not mad its the direction i took...go pick up a Siphon, Import Tuner, or Super Street and look at the cars in there...you will see the majority are rocking stretched tires w/ low offset wheels...while others get super rare wheels to accent their ride...its just the direction the scene is taking...

sorry if his fit doesn't have a set of rota's like every other honda on the road....LOL

well i dont like rotas either, and just cause its in a magazine dosent make it right either...its funny on here how people have such a big problem making wheels fit on there cars...every possible combo is listed on this site but yet you still have people on here talking about how bad their tires are scrubbing....when you have to roll your fender to make your tires fit and end up making it look like it was in an accdent i think its going a little far. i think the reason people put 15's on their car is either cause they are wanting to reuse their factory tires or they are scared of "scrubbing".

Just to go back to what you said about being in magazines, if there wasnt any streched tire cars in magazines do you think anyone would ever want them on their car? and if you are gonna put such a wide wheel on your car why not put a wide tire on there? it serves absolutely no purpose other than looks and half the people think its ok and half the people think its retarded. like i said earlier if he likes it no big deal to me...but why tear your car up?

^---- i think people are trying new things out because they are trying to experiment with different offsets and wheels. i went with the rarity of the wheel vs having a very low offset. i love the deep dish wheels on the fit, but i got a great deal and it was offered to me...so i scooped up the 17x7.5 rg.

otherwise i probably would have gone with a 16x8" rim with a very low offset aswell.

with my set up i only rub on the tabs. if i take my fender lining off, i wouldn't even rub at all.... but i want to keep those in for some odd reason.

i really think people are keeping with the 15" rim is because they want to be low! i want to be Stupid low...but i cant do that with the 17" rim. i can be low...but not as low as a tire tucking 15" rim.

nobody has his set up here....so he's different and people are admiring it. why be the same as someone else? you can replicate but you will never be able to duplicate if you don't try something different. parts can be replaced on a car if broken, thats the the game we play when we modify our cars.

realized our front fenders are total crap and it's made outa pop cans, also the paint isn't even primered, it's just paint strght onto metal.
I stated this a while ago bud.
Also, our paint is water based. Its suppose to be environmentally friendly and shit. Its basically primer, base coat, and clear all in one.

Our cars have no real clear coat. Thats why it scratches when dust lands on it.

I think it looks great. Its got the stretched tire and its tucked. I like it.
Great work man. Ill probably be buying one of those rollers.

My front roll looks similar. Not as extreme but once I noticed the fender was getting chewy I stopped. You really did an extreme roll. I noticed the fender gap at the door is popped outward. Damn the Fit for being cursed with doodoo fenders!!!

To the people hatin... its personal opinions as we all know. People that dont like it just shouldnt post. Easy as that. Only real thing that happens is the person starting the debate gets their feelings hurt.

Yes my wheels stick out a bit. Its common sense, low offset pushes the wheels out. Im working with what I have. Currently; thats low offset, no camber control, and springs. What do you want me to do?

Camber bolts are on the way and I cant change the height anytime soon. Coilovers were on my next list but I want a new computer first.

Also, if anyone was jockin my nuts its probably not due to the offset of my wheels. Well; thats part of it but its probably due to having balls to run the offset. Not the overall look. People on this forum bitch about rubbing with 40mm offset on stock suspension. Im running +6 with springs. I can take the rubbing that 95% of this forum cant.

No matter whats theres a sacrifice to looking good. Money, people hatin, destroying the car, tires, parts, your feelings, whatever.

but why tear your car up?
To be different. Standing out is the key. And theres a huge crowed that love the stretched look. Its the Euro crowd. "Messican style" and the "Euro style" is a way difference look.

Odd.....I visit the Sema show every year to see which " direction the scene " is taking. I have yet to see this "direction" you think its going. It looks to me the direction is more towards "form follows function". Debate?

I'm honestly not a big fan of this look, but to each there own. Good luck! What I'm wondering is though, how is the ride quality with the Fit being so slammed??

Stretched rubber look has been around a long time especially in the euro scene. It's considered old school to do so.

Haha those skinny ass tire look awful stretched over those wheels. Its a good thing the fits are eco cars and not built for any kind of torque or those wheels would spin right out of those tires. If you think the import scene is moving forward with this new trend then be prepared to be giggled at all around the world. Any type of car "scene" will laugh at you. The muscle heads, 4x4 guys, bikers, and anyone with common knowledge will tell you thats dumb. But if your happy and drive a car with less than 110 hp then your cool.

Are you currently on the T1R coilovers? How many miles are on them right now?
You need a bit of front camber now. My camber bolts come in Thursday. Im deff doing the washer mod on the rear. How thick was that washer?

I bet you still rub.

Sure... because drifters dont have torque.
And the Euro scene isnt just appearance. Most/All of the older Golfs with extreme stretched tires are running VR6 swaps. Not to mention 20V 1.8T's.

Its a front wheel drive car?? Why would you even mention drifting? Besides that is a god awful waste of tires. Sure it may take a little talent but it takes alot more and proves alot more in racing events. Even small events like auto-x where fits could put on a real show against others of the same class.

This link shows curb rash. Without side wall protection I GARUNTEE! it would have been much worse. I'm not saying your a bad driver just sometimes shit happens wheter your fault or not. I am sure those rims were not free so if anything does happen are you going to be able to afford some new ones? I would sell those tires and buy some that fit a little more proper.... thats all I am sayin... but if it is were the import scene is going and you must follow be careful, and post pics if they get fubared.

I notice all the people crying are low post, or "new members"...Same person?

P.s. Can we start an EPIC QQ place for all the cry babies to post? I'm sick of haters. This is turning into honda-tech.
