my wheel set up ---- must see !!

well not slammed yet but it's the lowest i can go with these wheels
after $400 worth of fender rolling, realized our front fenders are total crap and it's made outa pop cans, also the paint isn't even primered, it's just paint strght onto metal.

anyways, the front fender has an ugly roll, but it's ok cuz i am getting a jdm conversion in FEB.

here are some teaser pics...i still gota finish the rear.

btw: my set up is the following
16X8 + 15 sport max
yokahama s-drives 195/45/16
needs major fender pulling

more pictures of the rear
HERE ARE MORE PICTURES OF THE REAR I TOKE TODAY, SORRY CAR WAS DIRTY !!

so after another day of working on it...almost got it done
heres the front completed and the rear hub camber

SO FAR I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY FIT LIKE THIS IN VANCOUVER/RICHMOND. I HOPE I WILL NEVER SEE SOMEONE WITH THEIR FIT LIKE THIS....*DON'T COPY* LOL

I am gunna go out on a limb here and say...you were kidding when you said "well not slammed yet"

cuz I would constitute not being able to see the shadow under your car as a reasonable means to call it slammed.

same would go with the "NEED" to roll some lips...but who am I...I dunno I just type here....

its pretty sexy though...I cant imagine that its even remotely streetable...
*as he slowy rocks back and fourth over a speed bump*

It looks great though

dang i must really be gettin old cause im just not feelin that....we have alot of "mexican americans" in my area that drive cars with the totally wrong offset so maybe thats why this looks so amuseing to me. i never have got into the whole "lets strech some small tires onto some wide rims". but if you like it thats all that matters.

did you not use a heat gun? looks like your paint just flaked off... i dont
think there's issues with the paint cause it wasn't designed to be
stretched (when you rolled) like that in the first place.

i suppose it looks pretty good given that you dont do much motoring
on that car and is more of a static model for carshows and stuff.

i think they use more like negative offsets that are like super protruding
out the fender and the treads rub the fender arch. looks like a crab
or spider or something. lol but hey, works for them that's cool.

plz go back to your rock...those of us that don't live under one understand the new directions the import scene is taking...

nice wheels, i was thinking of picking up that same set...or seeing if 15x8 002's would fit in the rear, and staggering the look with 15x7's up front...not sure if it will work though...

you using coilovers? if so what kind?

well this is the style up here.
i personaly find it ugly to run 30+ off set which most honda's run. but hey that's just me.
i love the way my car looks right now....can't wait tilll my jdm conversion is in...and NO its not going to be a j's kit like everyone else.

the paint is flaking because it's just total crap, u can't roll the front fender properly, because when you roll the lip, EVERY WHERE goes outa shape too, it is too flimsy, not only the paint is falling off, now the fender to door part don't match because it's all outa shape....it is even worst then a cheap TW jobber fender on civics.

YES I had to cut the taps off that holds the bumper on the fender, other wise it will come weird and won't be able to get the smooth look..front bumper is zip tied on

rear bumper the tap has to come off too, and i had to also zip tie it off, the rear rolls much nicer because the paint is better!
more pics soon !

streching tires on the wrong offset wheel? is that the direction that the import scene is taking or are you mad that is the direction YOU are taking...this is a forum full of opinions so dont get butt hurt that mine dosent agree with yours.

personally there is a difference between a hardcore pisa mexican rocking fake datons on a astro van/truck sticking out helluh far then mx6gt89 and this dudes car.

im pretty sure when they come out with fender flares....itll all look hard as hell.i would rock some deep dish wheels if they had flares out for the car. that way itll look sick. i dont mind cutting my fenders and sticking those on.

i mean look at the camoflauge fit they have out. shits ugly as hell....the fit doesnt look good with a shit load of spokes.

what do they call this...vip style or some sort. slammed drop wit a big lip on it.

i dont know. i wish my car could have 8 inch wheels. im steady at 7.5 width .
