If you pull the clips out and pull down the fender lining youll see what Im talking about.
If you look at it youll know what to do. Its very easy.
The lining will not move ones its popped back. You dont even have to remove the wheels. It does need to be jacked up.

Just spend the money to have a professional sort this out. When I used to go fourwheeling, the solution to rubbing was to get either a bigger lift, or take a sawzall to the fenders. I don't think you want to do either of those two.

Seriously though: there's no point in going with non-stock size tires and adjusting your suspension if your handling is going to be worse than stock. Which it is. The reason I can say this is that you're scraping, which means you have poor suspension travel and your turning radius is going to be worse than a F-350 dually.

Someone who does this for a living can sort things out for you, and perhaps could've prevented the entire situation. Good luck and drive carefully (or not at all) till you have this sorted out.

Just because its rubbing doesnt mean the handling is worse. It may seem worse due to the driver taking it easy around turns to reduce the noise.
My Fit handled great on my Enkeis. It rubbed a lot and the smell of burnt tires was present but it handled great.

Turning radius shouldnt be changed. Even with +6mm offset my wheels didnt scrap inside the fender wells. One way turning radius would change is high offset wheels with wide tires. Or really wide tires in general.

No matter what theres always a downside of additional/aftermarket performance parts.

Thanks everyone for your imput! I was able to work on the car today and used MX6GT89 advice of taking out the clips from under the fender and pushing up the plastic piece. It worked no more rubbing>>> so in the future you guys might want to do this in order to clear more room! Thanks again MX6GT89

How much did you lower? My guess is one inch and that will rub same as 205/45x17 tires. If you raise the lowering to 1/2" the problem may go away except for hard bounces. If thats bothersome go back to stock ride height or get 195 section tires. And if you stillget rubbing when heavyweights are in back consider Monroe MA791 airlift shock set at about 22 psi. Oh wait you have Teins.
