So I've been wading through all the wheel and tire posts and vendor's websites. Been reading all the "rubbing" stories, ouch.

I'm about 3 days and two clicks away from ordering a set of Konig Helliums 15x6.5x40 offset wheels with 4 Kumho Ecsta ASX 195x55x15 tires from buywheelstoday.com.

Anyone running these? will they rub under load and over bumps at speed? The car is only 5 days out of the dealer's lot, totaly stock. It's great, but I can tell already it needs a good set of athletic shoes.

you'll be fine with that offset/ tire combo. your going to want to drop it though. i'm running a 15x7 40 offset with stock 195/55 rubber and dropped on gf210's and it only barely rubs up front if it hit a nasty dip at slow speeds. the asx's are decent tires but the grip isn't the greatest. it is however a decent all season tire that lasts awhile for the money.

Well I wound up ordering the Konigs and a set of Yokohoma S Drive 195 55 15 tires. Looks like I'll take 6.5 lbs of unsprung weight off of each corner when the steelies and Dunlops are removed. The Konigs are 10.4 lbs and the tires 18.
