Will these fit and look good on OR 09?

Was wondering if someone would let me know if I could make these work in 16 inches...also would the gunmetal gloss look good on the new orange?

Thanks!

I'm prejudiced but my 17x7/42's with 205/40x17 tires, unlowered, look very much like those and look great on my 08. I am partial to more delicate webs and ribs on my small cars. Thick webs are for bigger cars.
You need to find out if those wheels have an offset of 42 to 45 mm on an 08 or easrlier and 50-53 mm on 09's. Whatever you do, get a written warranty that they will fit your 09 without interference using the tires you are getting and that they will take them back and reimburse you if they don't.
If they have less than those offsets you will probably rub if you choose 205/45x16 tires. But there is a chance they won't as they are a half-inch smaller in diameter, just not a big one.

Would you happen to have a pic of your car with this setup? Im curious if 17 inches look too big or not. And what rims exactly do you have? Enkeis?

Thanks

I think gunmetal will look great on the OR Fit. I've got a TW coming in next month, but I've been waffling since seeing the OR over the weekend. I was also thinking about what finish would look best on OR, and gunmetal was my first choice. In terms of size, have you considered going up to 17s?

Will going to 17s affect the "ride" at all or is going to 17's perfectly fine? Also would 17's be too overpowering for such a small car?

IMHO 17s won't overpower the Sport nor should they affect the ride -- the sport already comes with 16s, so you're increasing only by one inch. The key is the proper offset to avoid interference/rubbing. That said, 16s in gunmetal will make a significant visual statement as well. Either way, love to see some pics if you go down that road. Good luck!

I'm not a big fan of wheels with too many spokes, so I vote no. 17's would be fine on the 09's I think, since it's only +1.
