Spun Wheels?

New to the whole Honda thing...are Spun Wheels wheels any good? I was looking at the SPK-Gs in black for my SSM 09. After seeing countless threads on ROTAs and how big of a risk they are. Just wanting to know about these?

i have never had any problem with rota but some people think they are crap. its really up to you. the only reason wheels break is under extreme stress like going to the track for some laps or running over objects constantly.

The only reason people bag on Rota is because they copied the JDM wheels they're running.

This is my DD, I'm not going to waste a ton of money, I just want something I can rock without having to worry about getting jacked or IF it gets curbed, etc. I go all out on my other ride though. Thanks for the info though, I'm still looking I just wanted to know what they were about. I may go after the 5zigen's after seeing how well they are priced.

truthfully the reason i got those wheels is cause they are cheap and guess what they are good quality and the powdercoat is good they aslo have a nice lip on a +40 offset 15/6 1/2 wheel the 16/7 have a 2in. lip the 15s have aalmost a 2 in. lip . say what you wanna say people but they are good rims that not many people have! not like the buddyclub, rotas, and any other knockoff company. they are also light

nxtfit I love your wheels, and if they had a black lip and center, I'd get them right fricking now. I always wanted green wheels but I hate the Takata and Rota greens....Spun has that sick lime/neon green I'm looking for

if your reffering to your supermesh not being popular i beg to differ.

how are buddyclub wheels knockoffs?

Rotas are cheap crap and im not saying it because they copy I am saying it cause I have had more than one set of them break on a street car that have never seen a track and also had a freind total a car due to this. Now I will say the roads in baltimore where I live are horrible but I had a cheap as axes wheel that was like 699 for the package with tires hold up fine for years without any probs, well at least not while I owned the car I have owned a set of spun supermesh wheels on my DA for about 4 years now and I will admit I also got them cause they were cheap cause some body stole my civic hx wheels I had on and they were my only set, and I havent even bent them yet let alone broke them like I did slip streams or crack the rim like I did my gt3,s. Now this isnt the actual wheel I owned but I picture I found on another forum somebody else took of there rotas, but I do think they were driving on the track though
