Has anyone run with a 40mm offset 15x7.5?

I searched and didn't find anything about 40mm offset with 15x7.5.

There is also a 15x7.5 with 48mm offset but i though that might be much.

I just like to go wider with a bit of a stretch to the tire, so i though the 7.5 would be nice with a 203/50-15 on it. a 195/55 would probably be a bit too much stretch for my tastes heh. But coming from the miata world, it would be a minor stretch compared the stuff I saw over there heh.

Thanks

David

If youre going to do that size wheel run a 195/50 on it. Itll give a minor stretched look. A 195/55 would look bad, and a 205/50 (assuming thats what you ment) wouldnt look all that great to me either.

Id suggest a 195/50. Itll also reduce rubbing. Specs wise, Id get the 15x7.5in +40mm.
What wheels are they?

I was gonna get Slipstreams yeah Rotas they suck. haha, its my daily and they are basically just cuz I am sick of steelies.

I ran 205's on a 7.5 before (but on 17's) and I like the look cuz it was just a LITTLE stretched. Guess it depends on the tire a lot. some 205's are 205 and some are a little bigger heh.

Thanks for the info.

For 15's in 205's all they have are 205/50's from what I know. In 17's they have 205/40 which is what you ran.
All tires are different also. Some will look stretched as its the way the tire was designed.

Id still suggest a 195/50/15. Its the best tire size for the Fit. Hoping its lowered.

I had 15x7.5 +35 offset on my fit lowered with tein springs and I had no issues. I was running 195/50 and there was pretty much no stretch on the tire. I have a pic of it here:https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tml#post511586
It is the blue Rays wheels
