I still have my IMSA CRX SiR with 180 hp that I take to the track regularly. I raced from mid 60's to 90's, mostly Hondas. Too old now. I like your setup plan. Good luck.
Check out you tube 'Hyundai Sundae' bit at VIR for an Azera video for a dealer. Though its a street car, still 2:33 is pretty quick but the SiR is 5 seconds quicker. So the Fit may not be that quick (mine struggles to break 3 minutes (automatic) but it has potential running against other econoboxes like Versa and Yaris..

Im not sure id be too slow. . id be happy with the Grand Am Cup IntegraR i use to work with and i can make the Fit lighter than that car and with similar power and similar tyres. (a supercharger would come in handy 270-300 hp)
As far as wheels, im going with SSR competition. We used them in Gran Am so i know theyr light and strong.
