Nexen n5000 no!!!!!

Just had these installed and all I can say is DO NOT BUY THESE! I have 205 40 17's and the rear end feels like a boat....back and forth..much like driving a HUGE car if you know what I mean....tire pressure is dead on...balanced properly, etc....

just a heads up guys.

What you're seeing is the greater sensitivity of a very low profile tire to uneveness in road surfaces. Those tend to dart about as the wheel tries to follow the road surface.

thanks for the heads up. maybe the sidewalls on those tires are way too soft and flex way too much. or it's the new tread squirming, but it shouldn't be AWFUL, unless the tires just really suck. i would never have gotten nexen tires anyway though. they're on the same boat as nankang and wanli tires to me (super cheap discount tires that i wouldn't trust). i haven't owned any nankang or wanli tires but i personally know people who have and i would never subject myself to such crappy tires after seeing them fail on others' cars.

Way back in the day when I had my 99 Prelude, my first set of aftermarket rims were wrapped in Nankang rubber. Worst tires I have ever owned. Bubbled sidewalls and chunks of tread comming off within 1 year of owning them. And they were only on the car during the summer.

I have also had bad luck with Perelli P1000's. I've had the side walls blow out on two of them within a year and a half while driving.

Right now I'm on BF Goodrich G-Force Super Sports and they are good so far. I've only owned them for a few weeks though.
