BBS RS..help Anyone...O_o

Hello F.F, i need some advice on a set of BBS RS rims i bought the other day. Now i have hit the search bar to see what threads have been made onthese specific rims but i feel like questions havent been answered. anywho, they're 15x6.5, 5x114.3 and 40 is the offset. i would like to do the whole redrill the holes so they fit the fit. I understand it is a simple process and it isn't impossible, BUT can that be done only on specific BBS S's that come a certain way? or is it on any RS's? also, mine don't have the deep lip or anything like that, i say the lip is either a 1/2 or 1''. not to sure, but they don't havethe screws that go around the on the inner rim i guess you can say. I would like to add/apply a deeper lip but add the screws as well, is it possible to do or is a no go...

Please some one Help! Thanks, Mike.

Researching on google states you can probably get them filled and redrilled. They recommend some hubcentric rings and longer studs just in case.

if they are a real BBS RS's then you would need the bolts to hold the lip, they wouldnt just come without the bolts and still be together as a whole wheel.
in terms of getting them redrilled, its probabaly not the best option.
they are 5 stud, and your going to be redrilling them to 4 stud, which is going to make them weak. and adding and removing material from light weight wheels such as RS's is a no go.
it will save you alot of money to sell them on and find some that fit.
I have a set of RM's in 4x100 (obviously not for sale), and many people have RS's in 4x100
they are easy to find if you look in the right places.

well, if youve noticed on some of the BMW models..they do have the 'Style 5s' which is 2 or 3 piece wheel, im almost positive its a BBS RS but im not sure of the model number.

they also have which i believe is a 1 piece RS model as well, which could possibly be the ones you have?

the style 5s have the non stepped lips i think, im not sure of the 1 piece lip design.

you could always look into the corvette BBS RS's which are the 3 piece design you are looking for. they are 16s, staggered 9" front 10" rear. pretty wide mo-fo's! would look pretty good if the offsets worked in conjunction to some stretched tires, and of course being super low!!!

good luck.

solbrothers is incorrect. i re-drilled wheels for over 6 years and it might be possible. give us a picture of the pad itself and that will tell the tale. It should be about $40 a wheel for a fill and drill.

if it's like this .....no you can't

if it's like this(not multi hole), yes you can
