Taller Sidewall to improve MPG?

Sorry I tried searching for the past hour but didnt find my specific question.

Anyway, I have a 07 Fit Sport and I was told if I use 195/60/15, I can see slightly better MPG if I were to use stock size?

I've searched around and saw mixed opinion. Some said it takes more energy to get the bigger wheel spinning but others said the bigger wheel actually covers more ground thus using less effort.

Just like to know whats the most accurate answer.

Thank you!!

Plug in all pertinent data into this: Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

You'll be looking at the circumference. Simply put, if your choice has a larger circumference than the OEM then you will improve GPM.

However, that's not the whole story.

Go to Tire Rack and do some searching on rolling resistance. Then go into the Eco-Fit Discussion group in these forums and search around. The topic has been covered endlessly.
