2009 Fit Base Tire Suggestions
2009 Fit Base Tire Suggestions
I've been told my threads are getting low. I'm at ~53,000 miles, and I replaced tires at around 25,000 miles. I put the factory Dunlops on when i replaced the first time. Most of my miles come highway driving. Are there any suggestions on tires to go with that 1. may improve my mileage between changing tires, 2. won't degrade performance.
New England = Conti Extreme Contacts DWS. I have them on my Fit as well my WRX. I even did a track day on them, because I was too lazy to swap to my Dunlops. Haha. They are a great all season. Great in the snow and rain. Gas milage was uneffected.

as always, just go to tirerack.com and do the research so you can pick out the best tire for your budget. On the front page, select the "tires" tab and then enter your model of car, or on left hand side, select "survey results" and then chose which type of tire category (touring, performance, grand touring, etc.) you are interested in.
