08 with 215 x 60 x 15
I dumped the stock size 3 sets ago. First I switched to 205 x 60,s for 2 sets and just put on 215 x 60 x 15 Firestone Champions HR's. During normal driving at speed with me in the car I get no rubbing except slow speed lock to lock parking lot turns. Then it is just the plastic liner in the front.
When I have a passenger and hit a good bump on the interstate the rear scrapes a bit. I'll pull them this weekend in the nice weather and bang or cut away what ever is rubbing.
The Champion HR's are a 40k warranty tire, I got 64k out of the last set and are the best tire I've ever driven in the rain, YMMV.
I switched sizes in the first place to get away for the stock 195 x 55's to help with cost and I'm old, the extra height with the 60 is nice, ride is better too.
Sharing my experience with actual real tires on stock sport wheels, not the made up crap that was so prevalent here a few years ago.

I can understand wanting the car to be a bit higher up to help with getting in and out of the car and ride comfort. Just as a thought though... Have you looked into possibly getting coilover sleeves or suspension?
I ask that because some coilover kits can allow you to raise your vehicle higher than stock and allow you to specify spring rates in some cases. For example: My Ground Control kit with their standard length springs can raise the front and rear of my Fit a good inch, maybe almost two inches, higher than stock ride height AND I have the choice of running a 2.5 inch diameter spring from Eibach's parts catalog (for both spring length and rate) OR get an adapter to run metric sized springs.
The only issues with going this route though... initial cost (I believe mine GC's were 450 USD shipped), finding a spring rate soft enough for your liking, and if you don't have access to the tools to or the knowledge/comfort to do so.. the cost of installation and alignment.

Your tire may blow up and you may roll at 70 mpg becoming a burrito in your car. THe worst thing, you can kill someone else.
Install the proper tires and stop playing with safety.

Or I could continue enjoying my car and hobby and ignore what some safety Nazi posts from his mommy and daddy's basement. I've been modding and rodding cars for the better part of my 67 years, I'm very qualified to gauge what a safe rub is.
