Questions, are we going to keep any parts from the stock brakes? like the hub? because the listed items don't look like enough to create the system...

Forgive me if this question has already been asked (I'm a noob), but does this brake kit retain the ABS? Also, I don't see a proportioning valve included in the kit. Is it not necessary?

Proportioning valve question asked and answered in the OTHER TWO rear disc brake group buy threads- it is not necessary. ABS has to be retained- otherwise vehicle safety is compromised and warranty on brake system is void (and T1R will be up to their necks in liability lawsuits), but I will leave it to Illusive to relay the official answer from T1R.

I believe they are the same or very close to the diameter of the stock front rotors.

Just heard back from Ben, brake conversion retains ABS, so no worries there.

Hey fitfreaks south of the border: Ben said for shipping, he will only mark down a value of $200 and declare them as sample parts, so there will be no brokerage or duties!

Very cool. If this group buy goes through, he has a few other parts I want to order. Maybe if we don't get to 30 he can still do a group buy at a discounted price???

I hope this goes through. There's just something about having drums on the back that I hate. Really it's more aesthetic than anything. It just doesn't look aggressive enough.
