but yea, i just wanted to remind everyone that getting on this list doesnt mean you have to buy anything. it just means that you get one over everyone else if you choose to when i get them. i will never take money in advance. one thing i ask of you guys, if your kinda 50/50 on getting one of these, dont get put on the list. i wont be butt hurt if you get on the list and you end up not being able to get one.

update: i got the metra kit, sent it away to have the mold made. ill post again when i have an eta on the finished prototype. then i will start a new thread for test fitment pictures. then im going to start taking cash orders.

 

I was just checking cause i leave for Cali in a couple hours and im not gonna have much conectivity in the desert. I dont want to miss out on anything or leave you hanging if it comes in and you cant get a hold of me cause i cant get on. PM me if something happens in the next month please. Thanks

 

Can you make it in red carbon fiber? if so, I will add myself to it =D

 

if these sell well, on the next run i will try to get colors. im trying to keep the first batch simple. fitment is more important than anything right now.

no updates as of late. still waiting on the mold to be done and the prototype to be mailed to me for assurance of fitment. the prototype should be done in about 2-3 weeks.

yea ill PM everyone that posted for interest on this thread when it comes. the prototype is going to be made of fiberglass though so it wont be pretty looking but i will be able to make sure there are no gaps or rattling from it.

 

Wow i didnt think that this was take so much time but then again i have never dealt with all the mold work before. Its all good cause i really want one.

also could you check on if you can get it in different colors of carbon fiber ie orange from this place

the mold is taking longer than expected. hopefully I will have it by the end of march. it sucks because I have my head unit sitting in my room waiting for insallation.

 

Yea i would like to see this asap as well becaause i have a head unit and triple gauge pod waiting to go in. i've waited long enough, soon my SC will be here and i will go buy a metra kit myself if its not ready... so keep me posted. thanks

 

yea, im really sorry its taking so long. its out of my hands at the moment. if i can have it done sooner i will. THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!
