I just PM'ed u....but for everyone who will be ordering either of the two kits....or multiple kits .
My recommendation for the towel uses are as follows:
*16X16 MICROFIBER........WHEELS / INTERIOR / ENGINE BAY

*16X24 MICROFIBER........WAXING / BUFFING / SHINE UP

*24X36 MICROFIBER........DRYING / MULTI-PURPOSE

*MICROFIBER SHAMMY....DRYING

*MICROFIBER MITT..........WASHING / INTERIOR / BUFFING

I hope this clarifies things alittle more for everyone. Please keep in mind though this is just my recommendation and that you can certainly flip flop anything above to your likings!
IT's all microfiber!!!

I agree with GAFIT in this particular case. I apply car wax with a meguiars foam pad (the round ones) or if I need a little more cleaning action a cotton wax applicator with a cleaner wax.

Wax would just be absorbed in to the microfibre and not spread evenly and thinly. As Tony's picture shows, microfibre would remove all wax from the surface and not leave a thin even layer like the cotton would.

Microfibre on the other hand is great for REMOVING wax/sealant and compounding material after machine polishing.

Everything else...glass cleaning, drying, polishing, spray detailing, etc...microfiber is king in my book.

Hey lamyun-
The problem with the foam pads is it will start to eventually swirl your car. Microfiber is the ONLY thing you should be using...as my picture shows how a foam applicator sponge / pad would scratch your car.
Maybe you should use my microfiber before you pass judgement . A big mistake alot of people do when applying wax is using a dry microfiber....it should be damp...this will help move around the wax.
In ending I use my product for waxing and it work terrific....My company backs our microfiber products....this is NOT Auto Zone, CostCo, Sam's Club microfiber....it's the real deal.
Please stay tuned we are close lamyun

So...uh....Tony, have you ever tried these towels on yourself after a shower? If they're so absorbent, maybe they'd be better than bath towels? Just wonderin'......

That's a great question Squirrely, yes I have. MIMA TOWEL actually has a full line of bathroom microfiber products such as;
*Microfiber Bathroom Floor Matts
*Microfiber Bath Robes
*Microfiber Bath Towels

Yes they would be more absorbent then regular cotton. Everyone will start to see a shift in Hotel/Motel/Casino's due to the microfibers longevity over cotton........all in all.....microfiber last longer and does a better all around job......SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY!!

Thx for your interest Squirrely

Wow. Ok. So this has me contemplating new questions. Since I try to be cognizant of my footprint on the planet, I have to ask:
-- What exactly is microfiber made of and are there any harmful side effects from it's production or use? Like, are we in danger of wiping out the microfiber forests on the planet? Or how many microfibers have to die each year? How long to breakdown after we throw them out? (actually, that one's a serious question).

Before I become hooked on all things microfiber, I need to know if it's carcinogenic or addicting? (or very bad for my great great great grandchildren)

lemme know when you're startin to sell'em cuz you got me hooked! One question i have is this... for dusting the interior of the car would you just use a microfiber cloth or would you use some kinda of dusting application(pledge, armorall, etc)? Same question would go for windows as well(windex and so on)?

I get that question with furniture. Microfiber is primarily polyester. As was stated earlier, it far out lasts cotton especially when treated with care. It's up for debate whether it's better to produce something with polyester and have it outlast cotton or use pesticides, fertilizers, and natural resources to grow cotton and then petroleum to fuel the farm and processing equipment.

In my opinion, it's probably a wash. Tony, being in the microfiber business probably has literature showing polyester to be better and I'm sure the cotton industry will tell you the opposite.

Most important way to be friendly to the environment is to take care of your things and make them last.

This is ONLY my opinion and I suggest everyone test to see what works best for them.....but, I'll keep my cotton for applying because water should not be added to the petroleum based sealants and polishes that I use. Those of you applying actual wax, by all means go with the microfiber.

Hey Squirrely-
Microfiber is a high tech blend of polyester and polyamide (nylon) that makes for superior cleaning abilities. There are many different blends of microfiber such as 80/20, 75/25 & 70/30.....these ratios are basically saying that there is 80/75/70 percent polyester and 20/25/30 percent polyamide.
MIMA TOWEL only manufactures a 70/30 blend for a few reasons which include better cleaning ability, longer lifespan and more absorbent then the other blends on the market. Not to mention 80/20 75/25 blends are alot less cheaper to make because polyester is a cheaper fiber as opposed to polyamide (nylon).
During the manufacturing process these fibers are layed out on super long tunnel...sort of speak. This tunnel heats up the polyester and polyamide to a certain temp after which the 2 different fibers pass through another process in which the fibers get split down to a 0.02 denier. It is during this process in which separates microfiber.....as stated prior during this splitting process the fibers cannot be over or under processed due to ruining the microfiber.
After this splitting process the fiber are then either circular, warped, spun weaved to create specific knitts.
There are NO harmful effects from using microfiber!
No unlike cotton products, microfiber is a man made substrate....so stop worrying about the trees... . What is great about microfiber is that it breaks down within 5 years of disguarding.....but what is really interesting about microfiber is that it can be melted down into plastic. Unlike a cotton towel over the stove in which will catch fire....my microfiber will simply melt down for other uses.
I must admitt though, it is addicting...lol
Hope I have answered all of your question.
Stay tuned.
