we tried to machine an adapter for it, but because the leather is so much thicker once you fold it in it becomes very bulky, so there wont be a finishing top piece to it.

I like the t1r red stitching one. It looks niiice. It's not out quite yet tho =(

but the other shift boots go for 40, so im guessing the Fit one has to go for about the same price.

In the website, it said "(Shown with optional shift boot adapter)". What is this adapter? And does it come with the boot?

Sorry I dont have pics of the adapter installed right now because I didnt have the shifter assembly or knob with me, will post pics up later tonight. There is no modification or cutting necessary, you will need to staple or affix the "tabs" that stick out further, these go into the slots on your OEM plastic and they need to be affixed with a stample or safetypin etc. The adapter is not included but is a machined aluminum piece similar to that of the our other shiftboot adapter but was designed specifically for this boot and will not show once installed.

Yes it will "sag", there wont be anything holding the leather boot up, there are some DIY methods of holding the boot up via rubber grommets or other methods.
