I can vouche for his work as I've several items he doned for me and they are all still mint.
With any cf you should wax it as they have a clear coat.

That's a good point, but sorry to say the results may not be consistent throughout all composites manufacturers. I've been in the plastics and composites industries for around 25 years now and great progress has been made in providing stable materials, but not all manufacturers make use of this progress.
My first recommendation to anyone buying a carbon part that is mass produced, whether in Asia or domestic, that you don't know the specifics of the process used, is to have the part clear coated with polyurethane clear with UV inhibitors right off. If you choose to run a part that doesn't use proper resins in the sun, like many hoods sold, the resin could start to degrade within a couple months and then it will be too late to save the part.
All the parts I make, whether molded or overlaid, use stable resins and are clear coated with 2k clear containing UV inhibitors, so I haven't had problems with yellowing or haze for many years now. Living in the intense AZ sun has given many parts a good test too. I personally have hundreds of parts out there, all around the world and have been fortunate to have minimal problems over the long run.

Ps. Thanks for the comment Fitting.

PM him, but I'm sure you would have to send in a core.

Core is the actual piece that goes there... you would have to remove it, ship to him, and pay him with gold bars to have it wrapped.

EDIT:

You know, I had this convo with you already Rogue, but is there any glare of the shiny piece right there on the hood of the dash?

Still no taker on that first garnish that is for sale.
As soon as I move a couple items and get a few scoops out I will be going ahead with the gauge hoods.

I'm quite shocked =o

and I have no way of shipping the pieces I have, I don't have a box for them that would keep them safe. Any suggestions on where to get a box to ship you the 2 garnishes I have?

I'm a little surprised myself. I went ahead and dropped the price on the first piece a little just so I can move on.

The parts are fairly durable and the surface finish isn't too important, so if you can wrap them with something maybe a packaging store can help.

If you can send me at least one I can overlay it for you, are you wanting to stay with red/black?

Hey Rogue. So do u have the gauge hood (the one in red) in carbon fiber with a 2x2 weave? How much are u asking for that?

I plan on purchasing a couple OEM parts so I can get started on that soon. I'll post when things are about ready.

Do you have a test fit-ter for the hood scoop with a 2x2 twill? Let me know cuz its a perfect match of my carbon fiber hood.

I've started producing the scoop already, but you can join the list of ones interested in purchasing.

Here are some pics of the plain weave (1x1) smooth garnish installed, not to mention a great looking Fit.

Production is continuing so please be patient. Please contact me if you have a garnish that you would like to send for modifying otherwise there is some added time for the core to be returned.

Things are still proceeding with these parts and I recently got a core back which will be done in silver. Pics will be posted.

Thanks Fitting. That silver material is harder to work with but I do like the look when it's finished.

You can't really see the material very good in the photo, but it's the same Texalium like this scoop:

Fitting has a few other parts in this material and so far is the only one I've made the silver parts for.

I haven't posted any pics of the rear garnishes in a while but since I like how this one turned out with the new emblem I thought I would share.
BTW the part is going to CuTeBoi

Do you have the carbon rear garnish available for 09 Fit owners. I don't trust iKona with money, quality, delivery time, etc. etc. etc. Please help me out here. Ready to purchase.
