I didn't mean civics and integras are stupid, I was expressing the fact that Civics are, IMO, not as good as a Fit in any way, shape, or form. That's all. In what way are Civics better than a Fit? Please explain this to me. Don't say shit like 'oh well the Si has 197hp' who gives a shit? For the same price as an Si I can have a Fit with highboost supercharger that will destroy that Si. Fits > Civics. End of story.
they are better to mod at least. there is a ton of more parts out there for them. thats undisputable. but there are many ways that the fit is 'better' than a civic, though modding and what you can do with them probably shouldn't be listed as one.
i agree about the h.b. supercharger destroying the si....just make sure the si is stock. (see my point about mods?) dont worry, i''m with you on the fit in general, civics are a dime a dozen, and wether anyone wants to believe it or not, civics used to occupy the place that the fit does now, which is hondas entry level econo car. it kinda still does actually. and it puts up handling numbers no civic save the current si can match. and its body rigidity is worlds ahead of any civic made before 2001.

Realistically you're basically comparing apples to oranges, and doing it quite poorly too I might add. The reason why I say this is, you so easily took the latest generation of Honda Civic as your example to compare / compete against the Honda Fit. When realistically your original complaint is against the Honda Civic and Integra regardless of year or generation.
However, if I was to simply use your mentality when it comes to finances, I could easily build a 1992-1995 Honda Civic VX Hatchback with a Hybrid All-Motor K20/K24 i-VTEC setup that would absolutely annilate your "Fit with highboost supercharger" on any track within North America.

exactly. but how many guys mod EE wagons as compared to civics or crxs of that year? the ratio is veeeeery in favor of the civic/crx. same as the fit and the current civic
