JDP Rear Diffuser for GD - Gauging Interest
#222
I wouldn't mind making my own cut and laying up a fiber glass tunnel either over or under the diffuser .... If you make a cut out it wouldn't be hard to make a tunnel in order to maximize and direct the air flow in a manner that will still be efficient and work with the majority of exhaust from after market suppliers as most are similar in design.

ok i was kinda looking forward to loseing my stock lip and replacing it with this entire defuser, i like where it is going so i will still keep an eye here (just was expecting something else)
i can see the hours spent mocking up this one with the stock sport lip in place, but i've always thought the sport lip kit was an afterthought on honda's part anyway, and now we get to add another?? dont get me wrong, i appreciate the work and still most likely will pick this up for the freeway advantages at the very least.
think about removing the stock sport lip and designing this thing, then you can include all the base owners, if the sides mimic (sp) the stock sport lip, then everything will flow (pun intended)
just my $.02

Wilson...appreciate your feedback....and it's not too late to make this adjustment.
However, I need a full on commitment from everyone else who is "interested".
Is it possible to start up an official list of buyers? I would like to hear from them...
This what I'm think to try and accomodate alot of people here. There will be two separate parts people can purchase....
- Under panel with diffuser fins
- Rear add on lip (Excludes under panel)
Since there's going to be alot of material, this will help with costs as well.
Quick update....I almost done mocking up the under panel!!!!

I'll prolly get both but remove the underpanel for autox since it's not allowed in ST class. I would like a price estimate before i commit to being a "official buyer". I'll have to save $$$ much like most of us in this economy to purchase it
edit: i'm not concerned about adding to the sport lip, but i'm not a base owner lol

Im not sure how much the sport lip adds to the overall length to the bumper but it would probable look nicer if it replaced the sport lip instead of attached to it.

I am interested but I'd need to see some feedback from buyers (regarding quality, fitment, and shipping time) before I'd purchase (If the price is right). Looks promising so far though in regards to looks.

honestly, i'm holding out till i see what the front lip/grille/spoiler look like. if they're even half as good looking as what you've made for the GE's then i'm in for the whole set minus the under panels and diffuser fins

I am VERY INTERESTED in this but it would really help me decide if i saw the completed product, i dont wanna commit to something based on a half finished product. i do appreciate the hard work, but i need to see wat im commiting to. show me the finish product with the under panels and fins.
