Group request for new hood style...

Looks really good JDP. Next one to do is have a vent going in right to the intake, like the Mugen and Ings bonnets on the DC5 Integra, well their inlet was to push air down onto the exmani and under the car versus hot air pooling around the intake box.

Good question...I really haven't looked into intakes that much. From what vie gathered here, the PRM is the favored SRI...though I still haven't seen an independent dyno showing gains/losses compared to stock.
I made Lyon an offer I figured he couldn't refuse: I (and possibly others here) would donate to pay for his dyno session if he purchased the WR header. This way, he could do one "stock" baseline pull...one WR header pull....and one "DIY SRI" pull. This would let us compare stock to WR and stock to DIY SRI. I haven't heard back yet.

Shoot, make me that offer, and I'd probably do it for the PRM. Wouldn't be difficult to slap the stock box back in, and Waco finally has a shop with a dyno again (haven't had one for the past 4 years or so). I HAD planned on buying the WR after inspection in April, but I'm flexible...

Tell you what...you're the first to respond so we'll make it a deal. Let's take this to PM tomorrow (it's close to midnight here). Hopefully some other eyeballs on this thread would be willing to pony up 10 bucks each to see some legit dyno results of aftermarket performance parts.

Found the info online. $100 for three pulls. I know this isn't PM... but I'll ask anyway. Since I have the t1r axle-back, what three pulls would we want, or would we want more? Complete stock. Stock with PRM. Stock with WR "header". Things to consider...

bnd at it again! im down for this, specially for the wr header...since I already have the Injen CAI/SRI, the PRM wont benefit me but I know you all will. If possible, but this is just me, id rather not have the t1r axle back installed when you do the pull. I think it's better to have a base with the stock exhaust. All my opinion though

Fair enough. I still have the stock exhaust, so again, shouldn't be a problem. I think stock, stock plus "header", and stock plus intake would be pretty sufficient. I might end up paying for one on my own with a complete set-up if we get this going.

This way, if the WR header loses power it won't effect the results of the PRM. Also, this is going to be the most common upgrade path for most. And we'll be able to directly compare to WR's own dyno testing (header + CAI).
Regarding exhaust, I wonder if it would be better to do the header pull with your aftermarket exhaust??? This way we allow the WR header to flow as freely as possible. I really don't think the choice of aftermarket exhaust is going to matter for squat...

nothing...if you're at a stand still with the car on it will just evaporate as soon as it hits the header...If you're traveling forward water will have a hard time getting under the hood. If you car is at a stand still and off well then nothing happens..lol
