JDP get in here --> Group request for new hood style

Below is the anticipated design...this will be the first and only custom hood in production for the GE Fit...I am excluding the OEM style CF hood (also produced by JDP b/c it ain't custom). The body lines of the Fit hood will be maintained and will also have the option to mount the underhood scoop.

Expect Fiberglass and CF optional.
JDP has agreed to produce this hood for us. The price with 15 committed will be $425 + shipping. The cost for 10 committed will likely be $525-560 + shipping.

Obviously, we would prefer to have 15 or more.

Thanks in advance...

ARRGGGHHHH....you're doing it wrong

Update the list like this (copy and paste):
#1 BlackNDecker
#2 TheEvil0ne

Otherwise there is no way for a JDP, Rogue, etc to eye ball the enthusiasm. Also, this ensures noone gets bumped by rolling forward an active list.

I'm down for a color matched fiberglass hood...

Regardless, it will be easy for JDP (or whomever) to just skin the fiberglass hood with carbon fiber per the buyer's preference.

If I had a GE I would buy a hood like that in a heartbeat.... There are too many cosmetic items for these cars and something functional as this hood is a good thing.... Letting that heat out is positive in many ways and lowering the intake temperature results in more power that can be felt

Hood feature wishlist:
1. 100% functional
2. Significantly lighter than stock
3. Option to mount and still use stock under-hood-air-dam for the air intake bay OR integrate one which is under-hood to keep exterior hood look clean
