Group request for new hood style...
hmm.. don't know if I'm going to make it out to Cali this summer. I may just have to get robbed and have it shipped to me here
I think I'll have to buy some more parts to compensate
I have been wanting the Integra DA front duct spoiler for a long time. I wonder if it can be shipped with the hood?

I wonder if it can be shipped with the hood?be prepared to spread those butt cheeks wide. s/h to Canada is crazy.. if not the fed/ex duty/taxes ($120smth?) on top of the double s/h. if u know someone closeby stateside maybe ship to Washington state? otherwise when i was gettin g the hood installed the guys @ Garage 5 (.:: garage five performance tuning online - v0.99) said next time i buy anything frm a US seller that needs installation, let them know, they get US shipments and usually do trips back and forth stateside for pickup. just inquire within if u wanna save on some s/h & duty.
Are these pretty easy to install with a helping hand? I understand you have to drill some holes, are there indicator marks of where to, it's not a totally blind install and possible misalignment of the hood bracket?
The engine is metal...aluminum mostly. It is a sealed mechanical structure (this is why oil doesn't squirt out of the sides of the motor while you're driving)....why would water dripping on the motor be expected to cause problems?
I don't understand why this is a recurring question?
Obviously you don't want water sucking into your intake...but (in my understanding) this is only a problem for people with CAI who drive through puddles.
I haven't heard of anybody who has bought a hood report water or weather related issues.
In regards to your second question, the bottom of the group buy hood looks like the bottom of the OEM hood except it has a vent in it.
