Curious on updates as well. Does John even have a 2012 bumper to work with?

 

John said he is trying to finish up the duckbill first before he starts on anything else, hopfully soon I want my lip already, I'm sure everyone else does too
And yes he has a bumper to work with.

no 2012's have complete different bumper than previous GE8s

Talked to John from jdp, he said hopefully he should be ready next week to start working on the 2012 lip.

After reading this thread, i'm kinda eagered to get a lip for my fit too. Lets see how it turns out! Btw how much total for the lip?

Well pretty much like the jdp scoop,
The duck bill took over.
I am going to see John this week. I will ask him in person.
I have sent him emails but no responds regarding the lip.

I will update asap

 

Update- I talked to John in person, he told me he is trying to finish up the duckbills fast. should be done with them by the end of this week/next week. After that he said he was going to contact me to take him my car so he can start with it.
He asked me to ask,
you guys want something the same as the old sport lip? Or something different?
He said he had something in mind, just so we can be different for our 2012, but it was up to us.
I will ask him what he had planed for it and see what everyone thinks about it.
Any questions let me know.

That's the Mugen front lip. Idk exactly what you guys want to do, but considering I'm going to be paint matching mine, I want something a bit bigger. Also, since I already had the old lip on my 09, it'd be nice for a switch up. I have high hopes for this, hope it turns out nicey.

 

Would like to see different options.
