Info from HKS on Fit Sport exhaust
I have a 18 Fit Sport and have always been an exhaust whore. I have seen all of the threads on exhausts for the Sport and the issue with the hanger orientation.
I have checked and the OEM muffler for the Sport indeed has a different part number than the muffler for all other models, thanks Honda.
Seems so weird they would have a different hanger setup just for this model.
I looked online for an exhaust hanger that was a right angle setup so one hole facing sideways for the top and the other pointing front and back but no luck.
Anyway I took some photos and pestered the HKS folks about this.
Here is the reply I got from them, thought I’d pass it along

We have checked the fitment, but unfortunately, SILENT HI-POWER GP5 LEB-H1
FIT HYBRID (32016-AH031) does not work on the Fit Sport because of the
reason you mentioned (the exhaust hangars are oriented differently than on
the other Fit models). We are currently undergoing development of an exhaust
that fits Fit Sport, and it will be announced through our website and social
medias once it has become available to purchase. So, please keep an eye on
them and we really appreciate your patience and support of our brand.

kinda crazy, how hks has to develop a new exhaust to accommodate a honda change in hanger orientation
one would assume .... a new hanger/adapter would get the job done
note:
one member was able to make it work .... he got creative with hangers, and zip ties

Oh I agree. Seems so weird Honda would make an exhaust that is only used on the Sport model. I mean it’s not like it sounds awesome or anything.
i have already looked for some rubber hangers that have the holes at right angles but haven’t found anything online.
That looks like all it it would take to make it work.
